Yes, absolutely.  (At least in the lower magnitudes of the 
price/performance equation.)

Anyone know if SmaCC-generated parsers can "coroutine" (not really, but 
you get the idea) to each other (or coexist in parallel under a common 
abstract scanner) with the same source stream?
