#13 Support for Crypto modules in 2.6

It would be nice to use crypto&compression drivers from
the Crypto API in the vanilla kernel. There are several
drivers (incl. the default deflate from the vanilla
kernel), so users could be able to change the
compression algorithms on the fly.

If you are interested, please contact me. I am tinking
about writing this patch. Or already in the 3.0 plan?

    This can be done by putting a squashfs filesystem as a file inside an
    encrypted crypto-fs filesystem, and mounting the squashfs filesystem using
    loopback.

    As it can be done so easily using the standard Unix layering approach, I
    see little value in spending a huge amount of time adding encryption
    support into Squashfs...
