I'm running sqsh/freetds against MS SQL Server 2003. I
getting inconsistent behavior when I try to stop (via
ctrl/c) the output of a long query.

In some cases, I will get back into the command prompt.
Which is the desired behavior.

In other cases, I will get:
!> sp_help
<<< SOME OUTPUT >>>
^C^C
Open Client Message
Layer 0, Origin 0, Severity 78, Number 52
Unknown marker

Tested on Linux and SunOS.
