#41 using a password that begins with a numeral appears to fail

We had an odd situation where we had a password on a database that started with a numeral. sqsh *sometimes* failed to connect (maybe around 50% of the time) returning a 'login failed' style error.

Changing the password solved the issue, but it's still a weird problem!
