Hi Georgy, Good question. The client-server protocol has changed over the years. Most versions are cross-compatible, but in version 0.49, there was a fairly significant change that improved performance by removing a client-server round-trip, so unfortunately 0.51 and 0.46 are not compatible. In the not-yet-released 0.54, I'm adding another change too, a protocol version flag. Whenever 1.0 comes out, all 1.X versions should be protocol-compatible. 2.x should support the 2.X and 1.X protocols, and so on. That's the plan, at least. Sorry for the bad news. Dave dav...@fi...
