When you deprecated that api you made it wrong to use it. Then you didn't bother to document the new correct api, nor do you document ANYWHERE to syntax of the URI or even point to a link where one might find it if they hadn't used that idiom before. So - if that example isn't wrong then undeprecate the api. Otherwise fix the doc. Choose either one. Come on! That kind of a response to a user who is trying to be helpful is not a misunderstanding - its abusive! And I thought we were making such good progress, alas... |
