SQL Media Library server 0.2.0 and client 0.1.0 released!

New versions of the SQL Media Library Server Scripts and GTK+ Client have been released today!

NEWS from the Server Scripts:
- More parse fixes.
- The 'update' command now looks for files that have been modified since the
last update, instead of just having changed.

NEWS from the GTK+ Client:
- Configuration filename changed to '.sqlml.rc'.
- Properly escaped some characters in SQL queries and shell commands.
- Columns are now sorted lexicographically when clicking on a column header.
- Now accepting some commandline options (see manual page).
- Added a manual page.
- Added a configurable search dialog box.

SQL Media Library Server Scripts 0.1.0 released!

A new version of the SQL Media Library Server Scripts has been released today!

From the NEWS:
- The 'id3info' parser now inserts proper genre names by itself, in cases where id3info only prints out the genre number and not the name.

- Added an 'update' command that updates the database with newest information from the repository and thus is much faster than importing the whole database with the 'import' command.... read more

SQL Media Library server and client 0.0.0 released

The SQL Media Library Server and GTK Client versions 0.0.0 have been released today!

The SQL Media Library consists of a set of scripts to feed a MySQL server with tag information about media (i.e. MP3) files from a central repository, as well as a GTK+ client for easy browsing of the tag information and playback of the files.

These are the first released versions of this software. Please test these versions throughoutly and report any bugs found!
