You need:
- libdap
- BES
- unixODBC (… or build your own SQLPlugin - try run 'besCreateSQLPlugin' )
- a running database
- ODBC library to connect to the database (read unixODBC documentation)

Tested with:
- libdap 3.10
- bes 3.8.4
- unixODBC 2.3.1-pre
- with PostgreSQL-8.4 and MySQL
- on Gentoo Linux and Mac

Please send me report and testcase on this forum or by mail.
NOTE: Users may prefer download the SVN version.
NOTE: try out the SVN version before post comments or send bug reports.
