We are now in production for all our domains since a week. From our statistics I see that about 6 % of all accepted emails are delayed. 1/3 of these emails are DSNs. That gives us about 4 % "normal" emails. What percentage do other sites see after running sqlgrey for a longer time than we do? I've had a report of 99% normal emails been whitelisted but for a MXs handling only 3 domains and less than a thousand mailboxes with very predictible email usage patterns (these are not personal mailboxes but business ones). Last time I looked, for my own MX with only my mailboxes, I was more in the 99,5 ballpark :-) How much mailboxes do you handle and which type of customers are there behind? Cheers, Lionel |

At least the numbers are dropping, unfortunately very slowly. > > How much mailboxes do you handle and which type of customers are there > behind? Difficult to say. I have about 70.000 mailboxes with 180 different domains. But we also relay traffic for a lot of small local mailservers behind us, playing the email firewall system for them. All out users are in scientific area, several universities etc. Regards, Michael Storz ------------------------------------------------- Leibniz-Rechenzentrum ! <mailto:St...@lr...> Barer Str. 21 ! Then two shell scripts for visualizing the stats with rrdtool. May be this is interesting for someone.
