[Sqlgrey-users] syslog problem on Solaris 10

I'm trying to install sqlgrey version 1.7.5
on Solaris 10, and while it will start
in standalone mode, it gives me this
error when started with '-d':

    no connection to syslog available
       - /dev/conslog is not a socket at
       /opt/csw/share/perl/site_perl/Net/Server.pm line 1238

Has anyone else run into this?
