After I launch a query, where do I find the output?

I'm somewhat embarrassed to ask such a question. However, when I launch a query, I don't see any results. I was assuming they would open in a new window. I've spent hours trying to figure this out. If someone could point me in the right direction, it would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi,
could you give us more informations (screenshots could help) ?
    - Which db do you use
    - What is the query

I can't provide screenshots - unfortunately some of the data I'm using is sensitive, and I probably can't share specifics. The query itself is fine, because I'm able to execute successful on other platforms.

The area where the results are supposed to be just remains gray.

I'm using Ubuntu 14.04 and here are my Java details:

    java version "1.7.0_65"
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (IcedTea 2.5.2) (7u65-2.5.2-3~14.04)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 24.65-b04, mixed mode)

Thanks for the quick response everyone.

Could you please test with SQLeoVQB.2014.08.rc1.zip ?
    https://sourceforge.net/projects/sqleo/files/SQLeoVQB/SQLeoVQB.2014.08.rc1.zip/download

You will have to create a new driver (in metadata exporer) and load the one in lib\mariadb-java-client-1.1.6+00.jar

could you go in your home directory in
    .sqleo.config
    remove file
    .sqleo.history.xml
    that seems corrupted

    restart
    and tell us :-)

      In java we use
      final String userDir = System.getProperty("user.home");

On Linux that should point to /home/user
be carefull as files starts with . (dot) you will see them only when using ls -al options or someting like that.

Maybe command 'echo ~username' will give you the answer

      On Windows
      points to C:\user\Myuser
      defined by command 'echo %USERPROFILE%'

Normally the error you posted should not happen ,
If you still see it, you can set in Prefernces> General - Max queries in history value to zero and restar to avoid storing in SQL history.

Setting max queries to 0 then restarting worked!

Thank you everyone for your time and help :-)
