Thanks PAscal... the link you posted led me to the answer. A line in my postgresql.conf file was malformed. Somehow it allowed a single remote connection, but not anything more.

I am trying to run Sqleo on Win7 and access Postgres on Ubuntu 14.04 server via TC/IP.
The database application, Sql-ledger, can access the database with no problems.
Sqleo however, cannot. Error message says that connection s refused on check that postmaster is accepting connections.
Any suggestion on what to do to fix the issue?
