    1. i fixed my URL to jdbc:mysql://67.222.44.171:3306/oikawama_oikawamarketing2015
    2. added my ipaddress to the remotesql list
    3. checked user and pass details
    4. tried also domain instead of ip address
    5. no success.

    Help please.

    i tried disable firewall on anti virus and router, does not help.

      which jdbc driver / version are you using ?
      What is the error message ?

      Note that with our included driver
      MySQL (MariaDB Jdbc Driver)
      you don't need to spécify the database name
      jdbc:mysql://hostname:3306
      should be enough
