Can I ask what the functionality of the "Add to group" option is when right-clicking a table name in the Metadata Explorer? I cannot see any change to the window or the group I created appearing anywhere.

You will find the added groups in Metadata explorer "Linked objects" of your datasource

This is not in the menu, but in the datasource tree
(your datasource has to be connected to be able to use the objects in groups)

Ah yes I see it - at the bottom of the tree for the datasource in the Metadata Explorer.
