Create an index tuning wizard front end. The wizard from SQL2000 enterprise manager can be called as it's a command line utill. Search for itwiz in MSDN for details.

That's not a bad idea. I was actually thinking of allowing the user to set up external tools. This could be one of the default ones included. Anyone think of any more?
