I know, it has been a while. Therefor I'll post this update about sql2java. The last few months we have been working on the new Greenwade release. I'm very proud of the new things inside this release like support for template packs, a modular data fetcher and the ability to use scriting languages inside the templates. There still are a lot of things to do, but we'll get there.
We are still looking for motivated developers who can work on their own. Sql2java has almost no documentation, which makes it hard to use it. We are aware of this and it has been added to our todo for the 3.0 release (like many other issues ... :)) If you are motivated and able to spend some of your free time figuring out the insides of sql2java, we would be very pleased to welcome you.
As for the project planning. Everyone knows we need to do something around planning. Therefor I'll try to manage some sort of release and feature shedule. This will make it easier for us to work towards a new release and let the users know about upcomming changes.
We know it's a struggle to get to the new release, but hope you'll stay tuned as this new version will bring a freshness to the project.

Daan

Hello Gerits ,
Thats indeed a great information.
I have also modified a template to generate struts2 actions with CRUD functionality. Where should I put it, once I test them in my current project?
Moreover, when do you plan to release this project?
