I can get the sources with svn, perhaps sql2java is not in the cvs repository any more. Many projects are now moving to svn. For a good svn client, try TortoiseSVN (http://tortoisesvn.tigris.org/)..

the sources inside CVS are the sources for version 2.6.1 (sort of). The sources in SVN are the sources for the new version (3.0) we are working on. This is highly experemental but includes support for ibatis and Spring. If you want to help us out, use the SVN version, otherwise use CVS.
There hasn't been any changes to CVS, everything was like it was before. I'll test your problem asap, but think it has something to do with your client (do you login anonymously?)

That's a very good tool. But I can't download the source code with wincvs.
