One way to do this is to go to AR->Customers->Reports->Search and do
it through there, then once you have found the customer that you are
looking for you can do a variety of transactions by clicking on the
customer. If the customer that you are looking for is not in there,
then you can put the customer in as a new customer. This is not the
ideal situation, though I don't know what, if anything happens when
you have a long list of customers. I currently have three customers
listed on my customer list, and it simply presents an alphabetical
pull down list. Which if you have more than about 10 customers seems
like it would become cumbersome.
