[SL] Config

Hi folks,
  This might be a stupid question, but I'm already don't know where to look. I'm trying to install sql-ledger, and I'm having problems. 

  I enter in http://myservername/sql-ledger/admin.pl. Then I click on 'Pg  Database Administration' to create the dataset. In host I type in the ip address of the computer hosting the software. As user sql-ledger, and connect to template1. I don't know the password for sql-ledger. I have tried leaving it blank, or use the password 'password', but nothing seems to work.

The error message is the following:
Error!          
could not connect to server: Connection refused
 Is the server running on host "192.168.1.24" and accepting
 TCP/IP connections on port 5432?


I have the feeling that I'm missing something. I have no idea what. Can anyone help me, please?

The error message looks like the SQL server is either not running, or
if it is running it is not accepting connections on the 192.168.1.24
interface.  If this is the localhost that is running the server, you
can simply leave the host blank and it should work. It works for me
that way.

Check to make sure the PostgreSQL database server is running.

Is your database running on a remote machine?  If so, the database server may 
not be set up to allow TCP connections.

if you not remenber the sql-ledger password, you must change  the password 
for this user in postgres direc tly or if you have instaled pgamin3 o can 
you try with pgaccess that are visual admin postgres administration, you can 
change de password for sql-legder user
