[SQL-Ledger-users] Cannot start sql-ledger

Hi everybody,
    I am completely new to sql-ledger. I have installed version 1.2.9
and seems to be to be correctly installed. When I try to call setup.cgi
my netscape browser reads it as a text file. I renamed it (or rather
integrated it in a html file) and here netscape would load it. But any
click to the links on that page does not give anything; which means I
cannot create a user, etc..
Please bear with me, I don't know much of about html or cgi. I would
appreciate your indications as of how to proceed.

Please tell us your Linux Distribution and version.
and Version of apache.
Version of Postgres DB.
version of Perl.

My config is :    Slackware  7.0
                        Apache      1.3
                        Perl           5.003_03
                        Postgesql    7.0.3

With perl 5.003 you can't use the latest DBD-Pg version.

You got two choices. Install an early DBD-Pg version (0.69 ?)
or install at least perl 5.004

I recommend upgrading perl.
