[SL] Problems with upgrade to 2.8.7

After upgrading to 2.8.7 from 2.8.6 I'm getting this error on just one
of my databases:

Upgrading to Version 2.8.7 ...
Error!

alter table semaphore add expires varchar(10)
ERROR: column "expires" of relation "semaphore" already exists

The others upgraded without a hitch.

got sort of the same issue here
First I got this :

Upgrading to Version 2.8.7 ...
Error!
insert into curr (curr,precision) select distinct curr, 2 from ar union
select distinct curr, 2 from ap union se
(I think the message was longer but the rest of the message got lost)

Then the system was locked (unable to log in)
After unlocking it through admin.pl I get

Upgrading to Version 2.8.7 ...
Error!

I regards to the first part of your message, we had a similar problem. It 
seems that this SQL command tries to build a new table called curr and fills 
it with all distinct currencies it will find in the respective curr column in 
ar, ap, gl and oe.  If one of them is NULL, there will be a not-null 
contraint error.  Find your NULL in these tables and change it to a valid 
currency symbol.
