Hi! I was happy when I saw there where a Norwegian Chart of Accounts for=20 SQL-Ledger version 1.8.3. From the SQL-Ledger's web-page: SQL-Ledger Accounting News=20 Mar. 11, 2002 =20 12. Chart of Accounts for Austria, Turkish translation, updated Danish, = Norwegian and Spanish translations. It's just that I can't find it :-( . I don't get the choice when I=20 create a new database, and there is no file for Norway under=20 /usr/local/sql-ledger/sql. Is there anybody who know where to find this Chart of Accounts for=20 Norway? Best regards! --=20 Bj=F8rn Rasmussen Tel: +47 38 04 09 55, +47 = 911=20 27367 Bj=F8rn Rasmussen Nettverkstjenester E-mail: bj...@se...= Moneheia 47, Kristiansand, 4656 Org.nr. 981 646 770 RHCE: http://www.redhat.com/rhce/rhce807001641802868.html MCSE, MCP, MCP+I: NT 4.0 |

You misread that. The translation was updated. There is no chart of accounts for Norway included. Dieter Simader http://www.sql-ledger.org (780) 472-8161 DWS Systems Inc. I Guess You read what you wanted to see instead of what it says:=20 There is an updated translation, not a chart. I am updating the European Chart section at the moment, but do not know if Norway uses another kind of scheme than Germany or Holland for example. Holland is done, Germany on the way, once the people in the EU make up their minds we=20 MIGHT end up with a European Standard Scheme. They should look at Canada, ;-) Adding a customized chart is quite simple once you have stumbled upon it, if you have an existing scheme to start from: Open the *_chart.sql in /var/www/html/sql-ledger/sql or somewhere similar in your favourite text editor and off you go ;-) Good luck,=20 Paul > -----Original Message----- > From: sql...@sq...=20 > [mailto:sql...@sq...] On Behalf Of=20 > Bj=F8rn Rasmussen > Sent: donderdag 4 april 2002 23:54 > To: sql...@sq... > Subject: [SL] Chart of Accounts for Norway >=20 >=20 > Hi! >=20 > I was happy when I saw there where a Norwegian Chart of Accounts for=20 > SQL-Ledger version 1.8.3. >=20 >=20 > From the SQL-Ledger's web-page: >=20 > SQL-Ledger Accounting News=20 > Mar. 11, 2002 > =20 > 12. I have made 2 charts for norway, but they have not been included in SL yet. One thing is that in Norway there is a standard NS 4102 that you need to follow. I have something in the works there and a Norwegian has also worked on it, but it is not yet complete. Best regards Keld Simonsen |
