Just started using sql-ledger today, and have been impressed with it so far.
However, two hours ago, I stumbled on a problem I have since been trying to
solve to no avail.
In the GL, I try to enter a transaction with three rows.
Account 1061, credit 115.05 (Asset, Account, AR_paid, AP_paid)
Account 2310, debit 23.01 (Asset, Account, AP_tax, IC_taxservice, CT_tax)
Account 5700, debit 92.04 (Expense, Account, AP_amount)
However, I always get the same error, that debit and credit are out of
balance. If I remove the decimal part, everything works out nicely.
Normally, I use the system in "1.000,00" mode, but I tried resetting it to
"1000.00" mode, and making special care of placing the correct commas or dots.
Nothing worked. I have tried tinkering a bit with the Perl-code, but I'm too
inexperienced to find the problem (I thought I could manipulate parse_amount,
but it didn't help). Can anybody tell me if I've found a bug (and how to solve
it), or if I'm the bug?
I'm using version 1.6.5, Apache 1.3.20, dbd-pg-perl 1.01, dbi v1.19 and
perl v6.2.
