Hi, how do I put the information from the desription or notes field of a timecard to a later generated invoice? The invoice only shows the description of the "Service Code" field. E.g. if the description of the "Service Code" is "System Administration" the invoice just shows "System Administration", but not what exactly has been done, which is stored in the desription or notes field of the timecard. Ciao, Marcus |

It should automatically be in the detail of the line item for that timecard. Yep! If we have a project with ten timecards, and we generate a sales order for them, there will be ten separate line items, one for each timecard, and the notes from each card will be in the text block under the Description field. (Only visible if the check box in the middle is selected). Thanks, Michael On Jan 11, 2009, at 8:42 AM, Marcus Sobchak wrote: Hi, no it is not, sorry! It it working on your setup? Ciao! Watch out when Consolidating Sales Orders though, line item notes from one or another will be lost and you have to go back into the old Sales Order(s) to copy/paste as needed.
