I am testing SQL-Ledger since yesterday and am amazed at the various possible ways to use it. This program should be enough for most medium sized companies, and the layout and functionality are tops. Great work! (And if you happen to not like the layout, you can always change the templates etcetera) I have a few questions: * In the features listing it tells me I can simply create a default chart of my own. What program / tools would I use to do that? Can I export a chart from one database and then use that as a template for another one? * Is there anyone with Decimal Chart of Accounts, or ha anyone set up a chart of accounts that is agreeable with IAS (due as of 2005 in Europe !!) Possibly the GIFI account number field could be used to enter IAS standards when used in Europe, or a ''simple" translation table from GIFI to other standards (GAAP, IAS) could be written in a plug-in or as part of the main code? I volunteer for Data-input needed on this one.. * I updated the local /nl/ALL file because there were some mistakes in the translation. Should I post a diff or the new ALL file to anyone? |
