Problem with installation

I hope I'm not being a bother by posting this.

I'm trying to get sql-ledger set up and I'm having problems with it. 
I've yet to be able to log in as a user, and the admin section keeps
hanging on me.  I'll try to login as the admin sometimes and it just
hangs and doesn't do anything.  There are no errors in my apache logs
when this happens.  This behavior is all through the admin section.  As
well as when I finally had created a user and tried to log in with
that.

Let me know if you have any ideas.  Thanks!
