Taxes...

Hi,

I'm trying to find out how taxes on products work in the US.

Here in Europe it works this way:
A company is obligated to pay tav or not. (THis is usually dependend on
country)

On a product there can be:
luxure goods taxes: on cars, alcohol and sigarets for exemple. Dependend on
product
importtaxes: Is dependend on product
low tav or high tav

How is this in the US?
