4 Digit Decimals?

I am using SQL-Ledger 1.8.0... is there a way to change the
amount stored in the tables to be 4 decimal digits long? On any
table... I've done some research and found out you can only
declare the type of a column in PostGreSQL whenever you add a
new one. Is my assumption correct? or is there a way around
this... any help in this direction is greatly welcomed and
apprecited!
