Installation Error

I have installed the relevant packages on a Corel Linux 2nd Edition. 
The table creation under Postgresql was completed but when I tried to
log on to http://localhost/sql-ledger/admin.pl I got the message
"localhost not found" from the netscape browser.

I'm afraid I am quite new at this and would appreciate any help.
