This is just when you sell anything that is not a physical good.  It could be the
hours for a programmer, engineer, or accountant.  The phone company also sells
"service".

Cost of Goods Sold.  For the cost of the physical goods you manufacture or buy to
sell.  Includes raw materials, direct labor, inventories, etc.
