[SQL-Ledger-users] importing data from other acctng packages

Greetings, 

I'm in the process of trying to figure out 
how to import data from other acctng packages (notably 
Quicken).  The customer and vendor tables are easy 
to figure out.  However, can anyone advise a set of 
heuristics/routines for the rest?  I've got about three to 
four years worth of data which I'd like to bring over.
