Yes, it is said so. With KDE 1.?? I succeeded in getting Arabic characters only in KEdit and that thanks to ar.kmap written by Alsaid. Unfortunately with KDE 2.0 I used to get garbage when trying to surf with both Konquerer and Netscape. I don't know how far sql-ledger supports Konquerer. If it does, then it will be interesting to see how much we can benefit from it in porting sql-ledger to Arabic. I will try during this weekend to sort out my Arabic installation and the installation of sql-ledger itself, because inspite of the changes suggested by Dieter (upgraded to perl-5.6.1), I still cannot go further than the first screen when trying to setup user and netscape complains that it does not find the directory where the scripts are lying, while it infact is on that same directory.
