Do many of us use pgaccess to modify and extend our PostgreSQL databases? If not? then What are you using? Well, reading the README file answered one of my nagging question on how to 'Auto Build' my PostgreSQL database tables and preload some default data. My current Progress based project has over five-hundered tables with only eight of which exceed a 35K schema size. I was pleased to find in the PostgreSQL documentation the ability to create fields as array. Really comes in handy for inventory MTD information, general ledger bugetary data as well as payroll deductions and earnings options for employees. --Hal. =========================================================== Hal Davison Internet Petroleum Gateway Davison Consulting Caldera 2.2.14 eServer 6850 Myakka Valley Tr PostgreSQL 7.03 - Sun Forte - JAVA Sarasota, Florida 34241 Phone: (941) 921-6578 http://faams.net eFAX: (419) 821-5999 =========================================================== |
