First off, what Distribution of Linux are you using? I had the worst time trying to get mine to work under Mandrake 7.1 (99% Red Hat) and fianlly gave it up. I switched to Debian. Thank God for APT! Now installing new packages is as easy as pie. (well almost). Secondly, make sure you've specified a driver in the users record. In .../sql-ledger/admin/setup.cgi when editing or adding a user, at the bottom of the screen where it asks you for the Driver, Login, Password, etc. Pg is the driver for Postgresql. And you have to put a login name and password for database access.
