No. We are the users of SQL-Ledger who volunteer our time and expertise to help other users. For most of the applications I use the developer(s) participate as they wish in the discussion threads, but otherwise it is a community effort. To extend your analogy, we pay an automobile mechanic to fix our vehicle. However, we can also fix it ourself, ask friends and neighbors for advice and help, and work without a visit to the repair shop. One identifying characteristic of F/OSS has been community involvement in support if not development. If that is going away for SQL-Ledger then the utility of the application will be greatly diminished. Rich -- Richard B.
