The version of the backup data is mostly in the name of the backup file.
Like companyname-2.8.14-2008-12-31.sql.gz

Now look in the SL dir en look for PG-Upgrade-2.xxx-2,xx+1 sort of tools,
and run those on the database before opening admin.pl

Should do the trick.
