As Michael pointed out, this means that parts qty became zero as the result of 'building' the assembly. Also make sure that you run the 'Stock Assembly' process only once. One short coming of the build-in stock assembly process is that there is no log maintained for any stock assembly operation. This might cause trouble if you inadvertently run 'Stock Assembly' process more than required number of times. I have a patch which logs each Stock assembly operation along with a new report to list the activity. You have to run the stock assembly process in advance before selling the assembly.
