No I have stuck with 2.6 because it's about the last version which 
offers the opportunity to jump either to 2.8 or LSMB.  At the moment 
it's not clear (to me) which is going to be my best option

The main reason I am on the fence is that I simply don't get a warm 
feeling that I can get help longterm from the SL community, nor purchase 
development at a sensible price.  Hey I could be very wrong - I'm just 
telling you what impression *I'm* getting from the tone from this 
community. 

2.8 has some interesting features though.
