Reporting has always been painful for designers because everybody wants
to add this or that or build a special report, just once, ...

IMHO, if we are to ask Dieter to change the current reporting structure,
it would be more efficient to ask for a way to let the user easily
customize or build special reports instead of asking for specific
modifications.
