[SL] Displaying Balance Sheet report in different currencies?

I have EUR as my first defined currency.

99% of the transactions are in EUR and no exchange rate is given with
the transaction

I have entered exchange rates to cover the period of the reports in the
Exchange Rates menu  (correctly?)

When I display my Income Statement, I select USD and expect to see my
Income Statement displayed (and labeled) in USD. It is not. The numbers
are the same as when I select EUR and the same date periods.

Am I expecting too much?
