[SL] Margins and character set when printing

I have two questions regarding printed output:

1) My dataset is UTF-8 encoded, and everything displays properly on
screen. However, when printing, accented and other "foreign" characters
are not properly printed. How can I fix this?

2) How or where can I set margins and select form size (letter vs. A4)
for printed output?
