Yours truly, the pompous ass and idiot, has a little perl script that,
collects all AR and AP transactions and generates a list of them in a
LaTeX box, deducts one subtotal from the other into another box. And
fills in the Namibian VAT form.

Anyone wanting to to have a look at really horrid programming style, can
