found it.

You have to edit the backup and adjust the tables as per FAQ and add WITH
OIDS before you restore. You also have to add a "SELECT SETVAL('sequence',
sequencenumber);" after the "DROP SEQUENCE" lines and remove the "DROP
SEQUENCE" lines.
