[SL] Automating Transactions

I am interested in automating a general ledger transaction.  Is there a 
way I can do it as a command line entry?  As an example, say I wished to 
enter the simplest of GL entry, debitting an account for $100, and 
creditting it to another for the same amount.  Could I do that with a 
command line?
