[SL] How to Import SQL-Ledger Data without a backup?

I have about a month old backup, however I have yesterdays data on a "mostly
failed" hard drive.  Short version of the story is after looking at the
"Critical Updates are available" for a few weeks, I decided to click the
button on my SME Server...  That was the last I seen of it other than
thousands of missing files, and Runlevel 7, and nothing to do, and issues
with inodes... (Ok, getting into the longer story)

In any case, although I have not tried yet (other than with Knoppix, and
that did not work either) I think I might be able to mount the drive in a
working system and copy the sql-ledger data over...  What am I looking for,
how can I do it, I suspect I am somehow getting the postgresql data
somehow...??

Any input now would be great.
