[SL] printing

Hello,

little question about printing in 2.4

in 2.2 you could print to a local printer (printer attached to the 
machine you are working on sql-ledger), even if you were not on your 
local lan (over internet).
Now it seems to be impossible if you can't define the local printer on 
you (remote) server.
Is there a way to do this without creating vpn?
