HI All, You all will know me As Adam on the boards, not very well known, but I am really into SQ 7 and helping in any way. I have posted a few messages on the mailinglist so I hope you guys got them. First up, check out that last e-mail from me as it was talking about reoccurances of certian things in all games, one of those little things htat some people may have looked over. The other is the plot going around looking like it may be the one we use I agree it needs to be 'fixed' up, there are weak spots and like good movie scripts if that is one one we use we need to put it in revision stages go over it find things that need changing adjusting etc, also gives us a chance to go throuygh any of the other plots and a possiblity of using some stuff from that to go into the final version. ONce we nut that out we can officaly start working on the script, a main script alternate scripts for those unforseen 'accidents' and the witting jokes and narration. If it sounds like I know what I'm on about and organised is because I am I sat down and replayed every space Quest game including the Lost chapter, and to work out the plots and reocuuring themes etc... I've also down 2 years of Film and Television at High School (a few years back) so I know a few things. Of course writting for a game is different but I'm glad to be aboard. The next thing is yes we should do a demo, and I really loved the SQ6 demo. It should be interactive. I liked the broomcloset idea the storyline doesn't have to be the same, but diffiantly start it out that way, give it that de jia vu type of feel, and the narrator could maybe start off exactly the same as SQ1 VGA and then say "hold on this sounds all too familar, haven't we done this before, oh year that's right you.. Roger Wilco were in this very same perdicament in Space Quest 1 where you cleverly outwitted the Sariens etc, etc", and some witting Narrator joke and Rogers bite and go from that. The next is I'd prefer SQ6 graohics but I'm hereing we are most likely going for SQ5 graphics instead, is this because we al seem to like SQ 5 GFX or is it we just can't do the SQ6 GFX? I think that is our priorities and I can assure you there are many other things to do, but I think that until the above is done and sorted out things like character names, plaents etc, etc, are least of our worries... OK then I hope this helps, and I am more then glad to be on the team...
