In responce to queries on plot idea. >But the generator was destroyed. I also agree that while tying into = older plotlines is interesting, we don't want to base everything directly on = SQ1.< Yes but Roger had the data disk which contained the plans for building a = new star generator and thats why Wilco's planet isn't very cold. And the Xenonians can't just give them the plans because they might use = them for evil or sell them to someone or get them stolen. I do agree this is a little close to the original plot. But I don't = think this is basing everything on SQ1. > Again, we are ripping off from previous SQs. While I like the Sshock = reference below, I think there might be a better way to get in in there.< Well I guess I gotta agree. But I couldn't come up with much better. = Perhaps Elmo, or the Maggot guy people are discussing on the forums, = could get a job on the generator and uploads Vohaul,=20 >Why does Vohaul want to blow up planets?< Three reasons: A. He's Evil B. Thats what the Mantis ship in SQ1 did, he = must have had a reason then C. A good terrorist always proves he can do = something before threatening to do it again. (Don't you watch Bond = movies???) >I think that if Vohaul did take control, on of the first things he = would do would be to kill Roger. Possibly every person on board.< Well um, he kinda did kill everyone on board. And he would have gotten = Roger but the AI helped him there. Much like System Shock 2. A death star knockoff could be kinda neat because we could even fit Bea = in there. Imagine a small parody in which Bea is held captive and = Vohauls threatening to blow up her home planet Xenon. ei: Leia and = Vader. Since Bea and Leia were both ambassadors it could work.=20 P.S. If this isn't the way you guys respond to Colin Davis' quibbles = please inform me on a better way. |
