Alright hows this for a plot? The Xenonians created the Star Generator as a fix for stars burning out. = This can't be the only place this has happened right? Well, the = Xenonians are sent millions of letters from less fortunate planets that = also have burning out stars. The Xenonians are forced to create a Star = Generator for so many people (or suffer from lots of hate-mail and red = tape) that they create a "Life Star" that can actually create a star out = of a useless planet. But it doesn't go to plan as someone loads a game = called Half-Life into the super computer they found floating in space. = On it is Sludge Vohaul and he takes over the mainframe, kinda like the = guys finding LSL and loading Vohaul in SQ4/12. Maybe we could have Elmo = put him in the computer instead since everyone in the boards seems to = want that guy. Anyway Vohaul instantly takes over the Life Star, makes = it into a "Death Star" and begins blowing up planets. Meanwhile, Wilco, who is working as a janitor onboard the Star creator = thingie wakes up in the janitors closet and is contacted by a mysterious = female AI (call it SHODARN, SHOTIME, SHOGIRL, or something silly, its a = System Shock 2 ripoff.) The AI was the original handler of the computer = systems and is fighting to regain control. This could lead to lots of zippy advetures. A cool thing to implement would be Roger being in a escape pod like the = one in SQ1 and is at some time forced to push the "Don't Push!" button = and is sent to daventry where he knocks the peice of the mask falling = towards Connor so it falls to King Graham instead. Thus causing KQ8 to = be a real adventure game. Maybe to silly but he should go to daventry. |
