I think that if you flew out to them, or were able to talk to them on 
the telephone, they might listen to you. Try it.
I'm not hopefull, however. The reason I say so is that by 'blessing' 
your development, thery give up the rights to try to make it themselves 
later on. As well as taking some of the flak if it is less than perfect.
I hope they would be willing to, but so far, in our negotaions with 
them, they have seemed less that eager.
